Passion to Improve Porterville

A Life of Faith, Family, and Freedom
I came to Porterville when I was twelve years old, and from that moment on, this city has been home. Not just a place on a map, but a town that helped raise me, shape me, and instill in me the values I live by to this day. It’s here that I grew into a man of faith, found my calling to serve others, and started a family with my wife, Jenn. Together, we’ve been blessed with three incredible children, all raised right here in Porterville.
My love for Porterville has always come with a sense of duty—a call to serve and protect. As a young man, I stood on the front lines of wildfires, doing my part to defend our homes and forests. Later, I traveled with FEMA, lending a hand to fellow Americans in times of disaster. No matter where I was sent, my heart stayed rooted in Porterville. Every experience only deepened my dedication to this town and its people.
Here at home, I work as a Stationary Engineer at the Porterville Developmental Center, maintaining the facilities that serve some of our most vulnerable residents. Whether it’s through my day job, volunteer firefighting, or disaster relief work, I’ve always believed in answering the call to serve—a belief grounded in faith and a deep respect for God, country, and community. For me, service isn’t a slogan. It’s a way of life.
For years, I’ve coached youth sports—from the basketball courts to the baseball diamonds—for my own kids and for many others in our community. Coaching is more than just the game—it’s about passing on life lessons: how to work hard, how to lead with humility, how to lose with grace and never give up. I often say this town helped raise me, and now I’m honored to help raise the next generation. My own children inspire me every day to make Porterville a place where kids can grow up safe, strong, and proud of their hometown.
I am proud to be a God-fearing, gun-loving, America-first patriot. I believe our rights come from God—not government—and that those rights are worth defending. I believe in the strength of the family, in the truth of our Constitution, and in the promise of liberty for all. And I believe in the power of everyday Americans, especially in small towns like ours, to keep this country free.
To me, Porterville is more than a city—it’s a family. It’s a place where people still pray for one another, work with their hands, and stand up for what’s right. A place where faith isn’t hidden and patriotism isn’t a punchline. I believe our best days are ahead—if we move forward together in courage, conviction, and community.
I’m not a career politician. In fact, being a Councilmember doesn’t even come with a salary. I’m a husband, a father, a coach, and a neighbor who loves this town with everything I’ve got. My life has been shaped by faith, built on family, and driven by a deep love of freedom. And with God’s help, I’ll keep giving back to the community that’s given me so much.
