Mayor Greg Meister
FORWARD WITH MEISTER.
Mayor’s Priorities
For Porterville
The ROad Mandate
I’ve made it a mandate to repair our roads, even as the State directives attempt to delay our efforts. Our city will not sit idle while higher offices play politics with our quality of life.
SAFETY & Homeless
My focus is to ensure increased public safety, reduced encampments and recidivism, and to invigorate a grassroots culture of trust and compassion within our community.
Cut Regulations
For too long, Porterville has added layers of difficulty for businesses & workers—on top of the already challenging environment in our state. I remain committed to reversing that trend by supporting local businesses and job & wage growth here at home.
Fighting For Faith, Family, and Freedom
I am committed to restoring local individual self-governance and strengthening families in Porterville. By fostering open dialogue and empowering residents to take an active role in decision-making processes, we can reinstate the values of liberty and collaboration. Join me in this vital movement to reclaim our rights and build a resilient, engaged community that reflects our shared vision for a better community.
Unlocking Local Talent Through Less Regulation
For far too long it has been difficult for small businesses to simply keep their doors open in this city. Wages stay depressed and families look elsewhere to live and work. I campaigned on unlocking the doors to opportunity and I plan to fulfill that promise. I have already made serious headway, however there’s much more to do. I will continue to push to make it possible for families to have self-determination without the impediment of government.
